We’re Griffith Christian Students: a community of students committed to knowing Jesus and making him known at Griffith Uni. Uni can be exciting but also overwhelming, and we believe Jesus brings clarity, hope, and purpose to it all. WE LOVE Griffith Brisbane
Griffith Christian Students is dedicated to serving and loving the campuses of Griffith Brisbane in practical and unique ways. So we host events and activities for both students who identify as Christian and those curious about faith. We think the best way to love our campus is to invite everyone to meet Jesus, who brings freedom and meaning to our lives.
How we
got started
Our group at Griffith Uni began in 2005 with a few students wanting to explore Jesus together. Over time, we’ve grown into a community of friends, learners, and leaders – all seeking to make faith meaningful in uni life. There’s a rich history behind how we came to be, and we’d love for you to see it for yourself.

Our group is part of AFES, a national community of students discovering Jesus together. All AFES groups across Australia stand on the same biblical foundations, seeking to proclaim Jesus faithfully on every campus. Being part of this wider community means we’re connected to other campus groups, supported by experienced staff, and able to be part of something bigger than ourselves.
